In 2006, she made her debut as an actress with Final Destination 3 - the third installment chronologically and fourth of the Final Destination franchise. She played Julie Christensen who was the younger sister to the film's main character Wendy. Crew initially auditioned for Erin Ulmer, while Alexz was auditioning for Julie. However, they changed roles prior to filming. Despite the mixed reviews from critics and the public it has proven to be successful at the box office and has earned more than $117 million worldwide. She made a cameo as a high school student in the romantic teen comedy John Tucker Must Die, that was not well-received.
